On Monday, 18th November from 2pm to 4pm, come together at Sketch and Sip—Carlisle’s brand-new art café—for an afternoon that’s equal parts creative and meaningful. This isn’t your usual professional gathering; it’s a chance for local business owners and professionals to relax, get hands-on with something fun, and connect with others tired of the same old routine.
Expect an icebreaker painting game to get the conversation flowing, followed by the chance to create your own glass-painted mirror, glass, or mug to take home as a keepsake. And, in the spirit of community, we’re also celebrating and supporting Sketch and Sip as they open their doors to Carlisle.
We’ll explore Brené Brown’s ideas on playfulness and creativity—concepts that remind us to embrace joy and let go of self-judgment. As Brené says, “Unused creativity is not benign. It lives within us until it's expressed, neglected to death, or suffocated by resentment and fear.” So, let’s…
