From Office to Outdoors: Why I'm starting outdoor coaching sessions for small business owners

As a coach, I'm passionate about helping small business owners reach their goals and achieve their full potential. As a business owner, I use the power of the outdoors to help me recharge and find calm. But lately, I've felt I was missing a fantastic opportunity to connect the two. I'm excited to announce that I now offer outdoor sessions for business owners who want to explore the benefits of fresh air and nature alongside coaching.

What are the benefits of outdoor coaching sessions for small business owners?

Recharge

We all know intuitively that getting outdoors and into the natural world improves our physical and mental health (there's a lot of evidence to support this now too). I want to tap into the benefits of being outside, helping you to find a sense of calm and come away feeling focused and re-energised.

Be at ease

Walking and talking alongside someone rather than sitting face to face creates a totally different experience. It can help you to feel more relaxed and allow you to open up more, resulting in conversations that flow and evolve in a different way.

Discover

Opening ourselves up to new sensations, experiencing different environments, and the act of walking itself can all help increase our creativity. Sometimes, all it takes to solve a problem or find a new perspective is a change of scenery. By taking coaching sessions outdoors, I hope to help you break free from your usual routine and see things from a different perspective.

How will it work?

There are two ways we can work together outdoors. As part of an existing 6-month block of coaching sessions, we can take one of the sessions outside and into the hills or forest. Alternatively, you can book a block of four outdoor coaching sessions where we spend all the sessions outdoors.

Where will we go?

We will head to the forest or the hills, using a route suited to your ability, location and the time of the year. I'll use a route I know well, meaning all the focus can be on enjoying the experience together and getting the most out of the coaching session.

Will I need any special equipment?

We won't be tackling any mountains, just a gentle walk in nature. All you will need is a good pair of shoes and suitable clothing for the weather.

How do I find out more?
