At the core of our approach are regular mentoring sessions. Working with a mentor gives you access to a supportive, critical friend who will help you shape your business idea and ensure you make meaningful progress towards your ultimate ambition. When starting a new business, it’s very easy to get distracted by all of the things you could do, working with a mentor will help make sure you focus on the key actions to succeed.
write your business plan
Your mentor will help you put together your business plan. This will include support and advice on the best structure for your business (sole trader, limited company, partnership etc.), shaping your product/service, articulating the customer benefits, defining your target market, thinking about branding and marketing, mapping your finances and cashflow, and exploring the resources you’re going to need.
Taking the first steps
With a solid business plan in place, we’ll stay by your side as you take the first steps. We can offer advice on the building blocks such as how to form your new company, choosing a bank account, putting together a marketing strategy and building your first website. You mentor will be there to help solve problems, offer advice and act as a critical friend.
